The 12th Solanaceae Conference (SOL2015) will take place in Bordeaux, France, from 25 to 29 October 2015.

Published on 04/20/2015

The event will continue on from previous SOL Conferences and address the latest scientific research on the Solanaceae, ranging from biodiversity, genetics and plant development to breeding.

SOL is the International Solanaceae Conference convened annually since 2004. Solanaceae or nightshades display large diversity and include more than 3000 plant species, among which major crop species such as tomato, potato, eggplant and pepper.

The objective of SOL2015 is to bring together members of the Solanaceae scientific community who contribute to the recent and considerable advances in Solanaceae genomics and use this knowledge to further our fundamental understanding of plant biology and to breed superior crop varieties well adapted to their environment.
